Description

Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist (School)

Location: Houston, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 6 weeks (43 days ≈ 6 weeks)
Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation


Required Qualifications

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license for Texas.
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required for Speech Language Pathologists.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
  • Educational Services - State Teaching Certificate and Credential as applicable.
  • NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP if applicable).
  • Background checks including criminal background, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG within 1 year and updated annually.
  • Texas DPS Fingerprint Result Client Attestation required prior to start; fingerprinting handled by the school district.
  • Educational Services - FERPA training must be signed and updated annually.
  • Educational Services - Mandatory Reporter training must be completed prior to start.
