Job Opportunity: RN - Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Provide patient care on the MS/Telemetry unit using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
This is a float pool position requiring willingness to float between multiple departments and facilities.

Schedule & Duration

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 twelve-hour shifts)
Work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Telemetry or related specialty

Patient-to-nurse ratio: 6:1
EMR system: Cerner
Scrub color: Any color
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

This position requires flexibility to float between departments and facilities within the system.
