Location: Odessa, Texas

Job Description
- Position in an Emergency Room (ER) setting
- Perform a wide variety of ultrasound scans
- Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, night shift
- Start date: First or second week of April (not sooner)
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Ultrasound Tech)
- Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated, assume minimum 1+ year experience in specialty (default to higher if conflicting info found)

- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - as applicable
- CHEMO (Chemotherapy) - as applicable
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - as applicable
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - as applicable
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) - as applicable
- NIH Stroke Certification - as applicable
- Tech Certification Verification - National, required within 30 days of start
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) - required for RNs (may not apply to Ultrasound Tech)
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam - as applicable
Background and Compliance Requirements
- 7-year background check required within 30 days of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
- Facility-specific documents including Standards of Conduct, Dress Code Policy, Standards of Behavior, COVID Declination (if applicable), HIPAA and Fair Warning Quiz, Orientation and Safety Training, Annual TB Questionnaire
- Employment application and 2 references within 3 years required
- Skills checklist updated annually
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start (must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing)
- Fit mask test within 1 year, updated annually (N-95 or equivalent required; PAPR not accepted)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (chest X-ray within 2 years if positive TB responders)
- Immunizations or positive titers required for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination accepted)
- Varicella
- Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start; plan for completion within 72 hours of signing contract
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season (Oct-April); mask required if declination submitted
Additional Information
- Must provide government-issued photo ID
- I9 or attestation required
- E-Verify or attestation required
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement required and updated annually
