Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Clarksdale, Mississippi
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift Details

• Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
• Work schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off (7 consecutive days working)

Unit Details

• Average daily census: 15 patients
• Patient population: Neonates through Geriatrics
• Equipment/Systems: GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba

Required Certifications

• CT Tech Certification (mandatory)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty required
• No first-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience required)
• Documentation experience with MedHost required
• Work settings experience: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient
• Imaging competencies:

  • Abdomen & Pelvis (with and without contrast)
  • Chest (with and without contrast)
  • Head & Neck (with and without contrast)
  • Spine & Musculoskeletal (Musculoskeletal Trauma)
• Age-specific competency: Neonate to Older Adult

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Tech certification
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications
• Prior travel experience required (no first-time travelers)

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam within last 12 months
• Fit mask test within 12 months, renewed annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Professional references within 2 years (2 references required for travel positions)

Additional Notes

• No pre-approved RTO (request time off) during assignment
• Must carry government-issued photo ID during hours of service
• Competency exams and orientation safety manual acknowledgment required
