Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel/Contract)
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (CT)
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Shift: Nights (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Job Description
- Work primarily night shifts in a high-volume acute care hospital setting.
- Must be able to function independently on night shift; usually staffed with two technologists but may occasionally work alone due to call-offs.
- Must be fluent with Siemens CT scanners (3 Siemens scanners on site).
- Caseload includes varying inpatient and emergency department cases.
- No on-call required.
- No floating to other units or sister facilities.
- Pending state license accepted.
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 3-12 hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience (highest required years of experience).
- National certifications required:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- ARRT Advanced
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA only)
- Must have experience with Siemens CT equipment.
- First-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience not required).
- Missouri state license or pending license accepted.
Facility Highlights
- Acute Care hospital with 233 staffed beds.
- Electronic charting system: EPIC.
- Free parking available.
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued ID required.
- Criminal background check within 6 months of start (including statewide, nationwide, and international if applicable).
- Quarterly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required.
- Education verification of highest related degree required.
- Professional license primary source verification required (Missouri licenses verifiable on NURSYS).
- Drug testing within 1 year of start, including a comprehensive panel (amphetamines, benzodiazepines, opiates, etc.).
- Physical exam within 1 year of start.
- Fit mask testing required annually (N95 respirators; PAPR not available).
- Immunizations and health screenings required:
- Tdap vaccine or declination (expires every 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella immunity or vaccination/declination as applicable
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season (Sept-April)
- Various facility-specific compliance documents including HIPAA acknowledgement, latex allergy questionnaire, confidentiality form, hand hygiene, fingernail, and dress code policies must be reviewed and signed prior to start.
- Annual regulatory compliance education and training modules required.
Additional Notes
- No weekend shifts required.
- No floating or on-call responsibilities.
- Locals not accepted; this is a travel contract position.
- RTO (Return to Office) restrictions: 1 segment allowed per 13-week contract.
- Performance evaluations may be completed but are not required for extensions or per diem.
- Two professional references required (supervisors preferred).
