Job Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (Cath Lab)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
• On-Call: Required 1 day per week and every 3rd to 4th weekend (24/7 on-call availability)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Floating: No floating outside scope of practice
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (local radius rule: 75 miles)
• Pending License: Accepted
• First-Timers: Accepted

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years (Cath Lab and critical care experience required)
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• License: Valid Registered Nurse license for Missouri (pending licenses accepted)

Facility & Work Environment

• Acute Care Hospital with 233 staffed beds
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Navy
• Parking: Free

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued ID required
• Criminal background check within 6 months (including statewide and nationwide searches)
• Quarterly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Education verification of highest nursing degree required
• Professional license primary source verification (NURSYS for Missouri)
• Drug testing within 1 year of start, including multiple substances
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask testing (N95 respirator) required and must be renewed annually
• Immunizations and titers required:

  • Tdap (or declination)
  • Negative TB test or equivalent within 1 year
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella immunity or vaccination
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• Various facility-specific compliance documents including HIPAA, confidentiality, hand hygiene, dress code, and latex allergy questionnaires
• Unit-specific competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency required annually
• Skills checklist specific to unit required within 1 year of start

Additional Notes

• Candidates must be able to meet on-call and weekend requirements
• No floating outside scope of practice
• Locals within 75 miles are not accepted for this travel contract
• Candidates must complete required orientation modules through WorkRamp prior to start
• References: Two professional references required, preferably supervisors within the last year
