Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab (Days)

Location: Saginaw, Michigan

Job Description

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after angiography and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Care for patients in Structural Heart, Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic/planned intervention Neuro, Vascular, and EP pacemaker/device areas.
• Perform pre-procedure assessments, pre-medication, documentation, post-procedure care, and patient education.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, calculate cardiac output, set up procedures, and operate life-saving equipment such as intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and Impella.
• Assist Radiologic Technologists by circulating cases and managing procedural supplies.
• Scrub cases and transfer patients as needed.
• Record all pertinent procedural information accurately.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license active in Michigan.
• Cath Lab RN experience required.
• Experience with patient sedation required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Work history and skills checklist relevant to Cath Lab nursing, current within 1 year.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel work experience preferred (not required).
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
