Job Description

• In-person Speech Language Pathologist position at an elementary school.
• Option for one day of virtual work per week.
• Caseload of approximately 40 students.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina State License for Speech Language Pathologist.
• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
• Educational Services State Teaching Certificate and Credential as applicable.
• Completion of South Carolina Mandated Reporter Training.
• Compliance with South Carolina state-specific requirements including:

  • SC School Employee TB Form completed by a physician or NP within 1 year of hire.
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray documentation as per state mandate.
  • Annual completion of Aya’s TB Questionnaire.
  • South Carolina Sex Offender Registry Search.

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Speech Language Pathology.
• Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume entry to mid-level experience acceptable.

Additional Requirements

• Criminal background check within 1 year of start, including multiple searches (SS Trace, Federal, Nationwide, County, Sex Offender, SC Statewide).
