Job Opportunity: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Clarksville, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Senior Care / Behavioral Health RN needed
• Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (exact schedule to be discussed)
• Prior travel experience required
• Locals eligible at same rate
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license for Arkansas
• Prior travel experience required (explicitly stated)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Physical exam within last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (updated annually)
• Required immunizations/vaccinations or titers:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year (must be current at start)
• Background checks including:

  • 7-year criminal history check covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• NURSYS verification (for all RNs)
• References: 2 professional references within last 2 years (one from each of last two employers)
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable
• Orientation and safety manual acknowledgement including HIPAA compliance
