Description

Job Opportunity: NICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide care for critically ill newborns and infants in a 26-bed Level IV NICU.
Care for infants requiring advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, including medical and surgical complexities.
Work schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 12 hours (7:00am-7:30pm), Monday through Friday, with 2-3 weekends required per 6-week scheduling period.
Floating may be required to multiple units or locations depending on staffing needs.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) experience, with NICU experience within the last year.
Experience working with pediatric, neonate, and infant patients.
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients.
Experience with trach/vent management and various modes of invasive/noninvasive ventilation.
Basic Arrhythmia experience.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
