Job Opportunity: RN ICU (Burns/Surgical ICU) - Travel Assignment

Job Details

  • Schedule: 36 hours per week, day/night rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Contract Length: 15 weeks (interpreted from contract_length value)

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years ICU experience
  • 1+ years prior travel experience required

Required Qualifications

  • License: Valid RN license for Massachusetts (no conditional licenses accepted)
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (AHA preferred)
    • N95 Fit Test (within 365 days of start date, updated annually)
    • MGB Medication Exam (80% passing within 365 days)
  • Immunizations and Health Requirements:
    • MMR: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine OR proof of immunity via blood test
    • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 15), no exemptions allowed
    • TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
    • Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
    • Strongly preferred: Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity/declination
    • Tdap vaccine within 10 years (preferred)
  • Background Checks and Verifications:
    • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, including Massachusetts CORI
    • SSN Trace covering past 7 years of addresses
    • National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days of start date, updated annually
    • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days of start date, updated annually
    • Education verification of highest level achieved
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation
    • Documentation of two professional references within 4 years (minimum one supervisor)
    • Skills checklist completed within 1 year
    • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
    • Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form upon acceptance and updates if start date changes

This is a travel RN position in a Burns/Surgical ICU setting requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and 1 year of prior travel experience.
