Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (MS/Tele) - Wisconsin

Shift Details

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (Nights)
• Weekends every other weekend

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in MS/Tele nursing
• Must be able to interpret and sign off tele strips

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Wisconsin or Compact RN license in hand
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification in hand
• NIH Stroke Certification (must have before interviewing)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• Ability to interpret and sign off telemetry strips

Background and Health Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (Chest X-Ray within 60 days if applicable)
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity/vaccination for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen with expanded opiates within 14 days before start (marijuana positive not disqualifying)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October to March)

Additional Requirements

• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Annual skills checklist
• Photo for badge (passport-style, no filters)
• Compliance and confidentiality forms to be completed prior to start
