Job Opportunity: PACU RN (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

Shift: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (primarily evening shift; occasional day shift rotation; no night shifts)
Hours: 36 or 40 hours per week
Unit Description: Post Anesthesia Care Unit supporting General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, and Gynecology
Patient Population: Pediatrics, Adult, and Geriatric
Patient Ratio: 1 RN to 2 patients
Bed Count: 34
Daily Census: 30 to 40 patients
EMR System: EPIC
Floating: Not required

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Minimum 5 years of PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience
PACU experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
No floating or night shifts required.
The role involves care for a diverse patient population across multiple surgical specialties.

This position is ideal for experienced PACU RNs seeking a travel assignment with a stable day shift schedule in a well-established hospital system.
