Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (MS/Tele Float)

Location: Newark, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Float between Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry (Tele) units within a float pool of 8 MS/Tele units. Additional float units may be assigned based on skill set and hospital needs.
Patient ratio approximately 1:5-6+ (to be confirmed).
Work schedule includes every other weekend.
Report to the Nursing Office for unit assignment each shift.
Scrub color: Navy Blue.

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
Minimum 1.5 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
IV Certification.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience working with Pediatric, Neonate, Adult, and Maternal-Fetal patients.
Experience in Acute Care and Outpatient settings.
