Job Opportunity: RN - Colon & Rectal Surgery (Travel)

Location: Albany, New York
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a post-surgical setting caring for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery.
Collaborate closely with Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses for ostomy and wound care needs.
Care for post-operative patients with TPN, NG tubes, and central lines.
No block schedule or 48-hour shift requests.
Navy blue scrubs required.
Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience is required.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Colo-Rectal Surgery
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system

Additional Information

Floating to other units not specified.
Dress code: Navy blue scrubs.

This position is ideal for experienced RNs with colorectal and urologic post-surgical care expertise and proficiency in Epic EMR systems.
