Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule typically 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Orientation dates available periodically throughout the year.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of previous nursing experience required.
• Prior Travel Experience: At least 1 prior travel contract completed is required.
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Valid RN license for Wisconsin.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support).
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
• Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Completed skills checklist within 1 year of submission.
  • License verification and copy of required certifications.
  • Work history/resume.
  • One supervisory reference at time of submission.
• Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (exceptions apply with rate adjustments).

Additional Information

• OT/Holiday pay multipliers and call-back pay available.
• Charge/Precept pay available.
• On-call pay available.
