Description
Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Job Details
- Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
- Call: None
- Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
- Minimum Specialty Experience: 1 year (first-time travelers accepted)
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required
- Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
- Holiday Work:
- If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, traveler expected to work it
- If 2 major holidays fall, traveler expected to work both
- If 3 major holidays fall, traveler expected to work 2 of them
- Major Holidays Include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day
- Orientation: Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)
- Locals Accepted: Yes, at same rate
Requirements & Compliance
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technician
- X-Ray Technician experience within the last year
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
Additional Notes
- Full compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time; non-compliance may delay start by 2 weeks due to orientation scheduling
- Candidate must review and sign facility-specific Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance policies prior to start
- Floating assignments are within the facility and scope of practice as needed
This position is suitable for healthcare professionals with at least 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology who are open to travel assignments and working every other weekend with no call requirements. Prior travel experience is not required.
