Travel/Contract Registered Nurse (Hospice)
Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide and coordinate home nursing care according to physician orders and agency policies.
- Directly supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses.
- Average patient load: 5-8 patients per day.
- Types of cases: Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-up Visits, etc.
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
- No weekend rotation or on-call required.
- Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from home clinic (approx. 150 miles per week).
- Use of HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) EMR required; proficiency in OASIS required for RNs.
- Dress code: Scrubs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
- Minimum 1 year of hospice experience within the last year.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Experience working with adult patients.
- Experience in a home health setting.
