Description

Required Experience & Skills

Valid RN license in Illinois
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Experience working with Level I Trauma patients
Trauma experience
Bariatric experience, including laparoscopic assisted cases
Neurology experience, including cervical fusion, craniotomy, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion
Orthopedics experience, including arthroscopy, carpal tunnel release, closed and open reduction of fractures
Plastic Surgery experience, including free flap - microvascular
Transplant experience, including organ donation
Urology experience, including cystoscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy
General surgery experience, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical), laparoscopic assisted procedures, partial/total thyroidectomy, Whipple procedure
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
