Job Opportunity: Temporary Ultrasound Technologist (General) – Des Moines, IA
Position Details
- Discipline / Specialty: Ultrasound - General
- Employment Type: Temporary
- Location: Des Moines, Iowa
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Work Schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
- Patient Types: Inpatient and Emergency Department
- Float Requirement: Traveler will be required to float across multiple campuses within the system
- EMR System: EPIC
- Equipment Experience: GE Logic E10
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of general ultrasound/sonographer experience
- Proficiency with general ultrasound exams including abdominal, pelvis, small parts, joint effusion
- Experience and comfort with pediatric exams and procedures (heads, spine, pyloric stenosis, intussusception)
- ARDMS certification with advanced education and advanced discipline credentials
- Experience with GE Logic E10 ultrasound equipment
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- Skills checklist specific to general ultrasound discipline
- Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred
