Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: West Burlington, Iowa
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

• Prepare patients for CT examinations and position them according to physician’s orders.
• Operate Computed Tomography (CT) equipment and accessories.
• Produce quality diagnostic images as directed by physicians and radiologists.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general anatomy, CT imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, technical factors, basic computer skills, and PACS.
• Competency in CT procedures, protocols, and techniques required.
• Work schedule: Variable 8-hour shifts between 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Expected work week is 32 hours.

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid CT Technologist license as required by Iowa state regulations.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA or ARC acceptable).
• Experience:

  • Minimum years of experience in CT Technologist specialty: Not explicitly stated (assume standard industry requirement; confirm with recruiter).
• Additional Requirements:

  • Primary source verification of professional license and certifications within 30 days of start.

  • Influenza vaccine or facility declination accepted (seasonal requirement Sept 1 – March 31).

Work Schedule

• 4 days per week, 8-hour shifts (variable start times between 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM).
• Expected 32 hours per week.
