Job Opportunity: NICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (NICU Level III and/or Level IV)
- Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts (option to flex to a 4th shift if needed/available)
- Minimum schedule: Every other weekend (Fri-Sat-Sun)
- Overtime available after 48 hours
- EMR system: Meditech (experience preferred)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- STABLE certification
- Education: Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Information
- Blocked schedule requests will be considered
- Locals accepted at the same pay rate
- Candidates must bring hard copies of all health documents on the first day
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency tests required as applicable
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgment and HIPAA compliance required
