Description

Job Opportunity: NICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (NICU Level III and/or Level IV)
Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts (option to flex to a 4th shift if needed/available)
Minimum schedule: Every other weekend (Fri-Sat-Sun)
Overtime available after 48 hours
EMR system: Meditech (experience preferred)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- STABLE certification
Education: Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

Blocked schedule requests will be considered
Locals accepted at the same pay rate
Candidates must bring hard copies of all health documents on the first day
Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency tests required as applicable
Orientation safety manual acknowledgment and HIPAA compliance required
