Job Opportunity: RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Med Surg (Mother Baby Unit)
• Shift: Nights, 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (non-negotiable)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: As needed
• EMR System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Fetal Monitoring certification or experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Med Surg experience

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care
• Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients
• Evaluate effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers
• Coordinate patient care with other departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Perform duties consistent with organizational mission, values, and service standards

Unit & Environment

• Unit Type: Mother Baby
• Dress Code: Black scrubs

• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No prior travel experience explicitly required for this position

This role is ideal for experienced RNs with a background in Med Surg or Mother Baby nursing seeking a travel assignment with night shifts in Oklahoma City.
