Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech (Surgical Services)
Location: Pocatello, Idaho
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Assist with cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) cases, including CABG, valve, and vascular procedures.
- Shift: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
- Call required: 25-33% of the time
- Charting system: Epic
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Surgical Services (higher value between 1 and 2 years applied)
- Prior travel experience not required
Required Certifications & Licenses
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification
Required Qualifications
- CVOR Technologist with at least 1 year of experience
- CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Additional Requirements
- 7-year background check and work history verification
- Education verification (highest level) required
- Color blindness test required
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Core safety and compliance training annually
- Locals within 100-mile radius are not accepted
Notes
- Prior travel experience is not required if candidate has 2 years of experience.
- Call coverage is expected approximately 25-33% of the time.
- This is a travel contract position with a 13-week duration.
