Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (PCU) - Idaho, Pocatello

Position Details

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (PCU)

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
  • Unit: 24-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry floor
  • Patient Population: Complex care including PCI and open-heart surgery patients
  • Facility Level: Comprehensive stroke center, Level II Trauma, Chest Pain Accredited
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3-4
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Travel Experience Required: No prior travel experience required

Required Experience and Certifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
  • Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
