Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical (Med Surg)

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with Medical Surgical and Telemetry experience for a temporary assignment in Massachusetts. The role requires flexibility to float to different units and strong clinical skills in dysrhythmia recognition.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system highly preferred

Additional Information

• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• Holiday and overtime pay multipliers apply
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color
• Scheduling requests must be finalized at submission; no changes allowed after offer

Prior Travel Experience

• No explicit prior travel experience required

This position is ideal for experienced Medical Surgical RNs comfortable with telemetry and flexible floating assignments, who meet Massachusetts licensing and certification requirements.
