Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience Required:

  • 2-3 years of staff experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
  • Trauma Level One experience required
• Skills and Competencies:

  • Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience required
  • Competency with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in ICU
  • Experience with high acuity patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring
  • Proficient with ventilators, arterial lines (a-lines), spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation and monitoring
  • Skilled in managing temporary pacemakers and titrating vasoactive and inotropic drips
• Additional Requirements:

  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • Competency test required within 24 hours of submission
