Description

Travel/Contract Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical)

Location: Carmel, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Position on a 31-bed med-surg unit (5C) with focus on general surgery, urology, gynecology, and bariatric surgery.
Patient ratio: 1:6
Experience with voiding trials and urologic surgeries preferred.
Must have experience with bariatric surgery, thyroidectomy, bowel obstruction, and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI).
Floating to other units may be required.
Perioperative/OR RNs, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from Indiana RN work restrictions effective 11/30/24.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience with voiding trials and/or urologic surgeries
Experience with bariatric surgery
