Location: Richland, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details

Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of specialty experience in Urology nursing (defaulted to highest requirement found)
- No explicit prior travel experience required
Required Licenses and Certifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Washington State
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
- Other certifications may be required based on clinical track (e.g., PALS, NRP, Chemotherapy, EFM) – verify with clinical leadership if unclear
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Background Check: Must be completed within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; updated annually
- Education Verification: Required for all RNs; international education requires diploma/transcript or CES report
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment Application: Must include at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format
- Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, indicating fitness to work
- Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Immunizations and Health Documents:
- TDAP within 10 years or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal Flu vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Respiratory Safety Clearance: Required annually for respirator use (travel only)
- Fit Mask Testing: Required annually for travel nurses; onsite testing available if no recent record
Facility and Regional Requirements
- Completion of WorkRamp LMS modules as assigned, including:
- Annual regulatory requirements
- Specialty-specific modules for Urology or outpatient clinic settings
- Regional and facility-specific training modules
- Epic Access Training: Required for candidates working in certain regions (verify if applicable)
- State-Specific Background Checks:
- Washington State Patrol Search (WSP/WATCH) within 90 days of start, updated every 2 years for certain facility types
- OBRA Registry Search for CNAs (not applicable for RN)
Additional Notes
- No floating between units expected
- No on-call or weekend shifts required
- Block scheduling not required
- Must maintain compliance with all required certifications and health screenings throughout assignment
