Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel/Contract
Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: 3x12 hour day/night rotating shifts (0700-1930 & 1900-0730)
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per contract required
Job Description
- Labor & Delivery RN with focus on high-risk L&D patients
- Must have high-risk labor and delivery experience
- Immediate start required
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC certified
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- AWHONN Advanced
- C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - If not currently certified, AWHONN can be a placeholder but must register for C-EFM course prior to clearance
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in District of Columbia
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with high-risk patients in Labor and Delivery
- Completion of at least one prior travel assignment as a Registered Nurse
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP certification
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
