Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology (Travel)
Location: Portland, Maine
Shift: 3rd Shift (7:30 PM - 6:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Temporary travel position to cover 3rd shift CT Tech vacancy.
- Support needed to maintain overnight coverage for CT scanners critical to Emergency Department and inpatient imaging.
- Work environment includes acute and trauma patients.
- Fast-paced setting requiring teamwork and ability to handle trauma and stressful situations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Maine
- Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
Work Environment & Equipment
- Equipment: GE Revolution CT & GE Discovery HD CT
- EMR Systems: EPIC, IMPAX
- Patient Type: Acute and trauma patients
- Team-oriented, professional dress code (any professional colored scrubs; no inappropriate T-shirts)
Additional Notes
- No prior travel experience explicitly required.
- Weekend hours: 40 hours (various scheduling).
- Critical role to prevent impact on Emergency Department turnaround times and inpatient length of stay.
This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists comfortable with trauma imaging and working overnight shifts in a busy hospital setting.
