Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Registered Nurse)

Location: Lexington, Kentucky

Job Details

Shift: Nights

Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
Required Skills/Certifications:
- EPIC (Electronic Health Record system)
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current certifications issued by the American Heart Association:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification

Health and Safety Requirements

Physical exam within 1 year of start (not required for non-clinical)
Fit mask test annually (with waiver process if failed)
Immunizations/vaccinations required:
- Tdap within 10 years
- 2 MMR vaccines or IgG titer (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Hepatitis B series or declination
- Varicella vaccines or IgG titer
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, with annual updates
Drug screening: Negative 9-panel urine drug screen within 90 days of start
Seasonal flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - March 31)
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required

Additional Requirements

Two professional references required (one for non-clinical)
Skills checklist and competency exams as required by unit
Work history verification for last 2 years if background check reveals issues
Badge photo meeting facility specifications required prior to start
