Description

Registered Nurse - PCU

Location: Johnson City, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Schedule: 36/36 (36 hours on, 36 hours off)
Rotating weekends and holidays
No on-call required
Floating to other units required (floated to Medical-Surgical with 1:7 ratios)
Orientation: 16 hours non-billable, starting on Sundays (includes online compliance training)
Hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without penalty due to census changes
Additional shifts beyond commitment may be flexed based on census/resource needs
Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside clinical care

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Minimum 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with PCU experience within the last year
Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
