Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Float

Location: Albany, New York
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Must have Epic experience (Electronic Medical Record system) – this is required.
Navy blue scrubs are required to be worn.
Candidates local to certain counties are not eligible (specific counties not provided).
Experience requirements:
- Option 1: 1 year of experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score.
- Option 2: 2 years of experience with no testing required.
Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission.
Position may require floating to other units.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Minimum of 1 year of float experience, including float experience within the last year
Med Surg experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record system

Additional Information

Work schedule details, interview process, and other operational specifics are not provided.
Dress code: Navy blue scrubs.
Facility size: 600+ beds (academic hospital setting).

This position is suitable for experienced RNs comfortable with floating between units and proficient in Epic EMR systems.
