Job Opportunity: Hospice Registered Nurse

Location: Fishersville, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide hospice care as a field nurse visiting patients in homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
• No call and no holiday shifts required.
• Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Weekend availability is not required but preferred in case of need; alternate weekend schedule may be Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
• Outpatient home care setting.
• Documentation system used: Meditech HomeCare.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
• Minimum of 1 year of hospice nursing experience, with hospice experience within the last year.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information
