Job Opportunity: RN CVOR

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
• On-call: Approximately 2 days per week and every other weekend to every 3rd weekend, based on department needs
• Holiday call hours as needed
• Must perform general cases when no cardiovascular cases are available
• Use of EPIC electronic health record system required
• May need to float within skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles
• Prior travel experience required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience, including experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

• Professional resume/profile submission required
• Signed assignment agreement upon onboarding
• Driver’s license or state ID (valid, not expired)
• Immunizations and health documentation including:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine during flu season (exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
  • Varicella immunity (two vaccines or serological evidence; no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap vaccine (valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted)
• Tuberculosis screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA test, chest X-ray if positive, and annual TB questionnaire
• Fit test for respiratory protection (specific mask types required)
• Health statement or physical exam prior to assignment and updated annually
• Drug screening (12-panel) within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter
• Criminal background check and employment verification
• Specialty competency exams and skills checklist completed prior to assignment and updated regularly
• Color vision test prior to start and every 3 years
• Core competencies training including HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission, and National Patient Safety Goals
• EKG exam with passing score required every 3 years
• Epic test-out and training checklist with signed attestation

Additional Notes

• Must meet all licensing and credential verification requirements within 30 days prior to start
• Must comply with all onboarding and annual compliance requirements to maintain assignment eligibility
• Floating to other nearby sites may be required based on operational needs
