Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Days)

Location: Great Barrington, Massachusetts

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Function independently under general guidance, following unit-specific guidelines and protocols.
• Requires independent action, judgment, critical thinking, and emotional stability in emergency settings.
• Utilize time management, communication, planning, delegating, and problem-solving skills in patient care.
• Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at submission; no more than 5 days of time off accepted.
• Block scheduling is not allowed. Scheduling requests must be made at submission and will not be approved after offer.

Required Qualifications

• License: Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be uploaded with profile).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of current Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
• Skills: IV experience required.
• Certifications:

  • American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) - current and active
  • American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - current and active
  • American Heart Association PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - current and active
• Other: Must have own vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment and Stabilization) certification preferred.

• Provide at least two specific interview dates/times of availability (generic "anytime" not accepted).

• Submit work history, current Medical-Surgical skills checklist (within 1 year), and one supervisory signed reference from the past two years.
