Job Opportunity: Wound Care Registered Nurse

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 4 shifts per week, 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM), Monday through Friday
• Schedule: No nights, holidays, or on-call required
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, every 6-week weekend rotation
• Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (home address must be at least 75 miles away)
• Pending License: Accepted
• Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 3 shifts per 13 weeks
• Special Requirements: Orthopedic experience preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri (pending licenses accepted)
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of wound care experience, including wound care within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Wound care expertise including:

  • Double barrel stoma
  • End stoma
  • Ileostomy care and management
  • Loop with rod stoma
  • Mucous fistula
  • J pouch
  • Fecal incontinence program
  • Tunneling wounds
  • Stage IV pressure ulcers
  • Use of hydrocolloids and other wound care products

Additional Information

• No on-call duties required
• No block scheduling accommodation
• Must be able to meet travel and assignment restrictions (e.g., no more than 7 days return to office restrictions)
• Must be willing to complete required documentation and compliance processes prior to start
