Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Job Summary
Provide nursing care to Emergency Room patients, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery in the Emergency Department. Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education. Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience. Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Shift Details
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
- Must be willing to float

- 38 beds
- Trauma Level III Certified
- Stroke Receiving Center
- STEMI Receiving Center
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Must be willing to float
Contract Length
- 13 weeks

- Dress code: Black scrub colors
- Start date requested within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
