Description

Job Opportunity: Perfusionist

Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (shift times may vary based on need).
Must be able to independently assist with ECMO cannulation for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Comfortable working in fast-paced emergent cardiac cases.
ECMO transport experience is required.
Must have experience with Spectrum pumps (facility recently transitioned to these).
Additional equipment experience requested: Terumo system 1, Quest MPS 2/3 Cardioplegia, ISTAT, Centrimag, Impella 5.5, Bellmont Hyperthermia Kit, CardioHelp, Angiovac, CardioQuip HC.
Scrubs provided by the unit.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Perfusionist, including experience within the last year.
Completion of at least one travel assignment as a Perfusionist.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
Certifications required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Experience working with adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Experience assisting with ECMO cannulation for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
ECMO transport experience.
Experience with Spectrum pumps.
Experience with Terumo system 1.
Experience with Quest MPS 2/3 cardioplegia.
Experience working with Epic electronic health record system.
