Registered Nurse (LTAC) - Travel Position
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Job Summary
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. The nurse will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Minimum of 2 years of Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience, including experience within the last year
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Contract Length
- Approximately 6 weeks
Additional Notes
- Experience with telemetry and LTAC patient care preferred
- Must demonstrate leadership and delegation skills
- Continuing education and maintaining clinical competencies expected
