Job Opportunity: Perfusionist

Location: Springfield, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour day shifts
• Weekend Requirement: Weekend call rotation approximately every 5th weekend, with possible holiday coverage
• On-Call: Yes, required as needed
• Block Schedule: Schedule requests can be discussed with management
• Return to Office Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Valid Perfusionist license in Illinois
• Minimum 4 years of Perfusionist experience
• Perfusionist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within one year of start date, confirming good physical and mental health and ability to perform job functions
• Fit mask test required (specific mask types accepted)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within one year of start
• Immunizations or proof of immunity required for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Drug screening (9-panel) within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required annually
