Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (Days: Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
• Daily Patient Census: Approximately 125 patients
• Start Date: ASAP
• On-Call: Not required
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (must be outside 75 miles)
• Pending State License: Accepted, but must be obtained prior to starting
• Attendance Policy: More than two missed shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review or cancellation

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
• Minimum 1.5 years of CT Technologist experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (CT) or ARRT certification
• State Radiologic Quality System Accreditation (SCRQSA)

Required Documents & Compliance

• Proof of identity (Government-issued photo ID)
• Social Security Card (if used for I9)
• I9 or attestation
• E-Verify proof or attestation
• Background check: 7-year criminal history, education verification, sex offender registry, and state-specific checks
• Education verification: Highest level of education must be verified (Associates degree or higher for allied health professionals)
• Physical exam within 1 year, attesting ability to meet job demands
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months
• Immunizations or proof of immunity for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (vaccine series, positive titer, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Drug screening within 60 days of start (10 panel including Oxycodone and Marijuana)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined during flu season)
• COVID-19 vaccination (Dose 1 and 2 required or declination form)
• Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year if respirator use is required

Certifications (As Applicable)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or RQI accepted
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - as applicable
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC) but not specifically required for this CT Tech role

Orientation & Testing

• Orientation safety manual acknowledgment required
• Pass/fail testing for medication/pharmacology competency may be required for some roles (not specifically for CT Tech)
• Facility-specific documents and photo for badge required

Additional Notes

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with initial application; late requests will not be considered
• Candidates must carry government-issued photo ID during working hours
• Attendance and compliance with all health and safety requirements are strictly enforced
