Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation
Location: Twin Falls, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a Speech Language Pathologist with pediatric outpatient rehabilitation experience. The position involves treating pediatric patients with developmental and neurological conditions in an outpatient setting.
Key Details
- Specialty: Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation - Speech Language Pathology
- Patient Population: Pediatric patients with diagnoses such as developmental delays, cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, hydrocephalus, and more
- Setting: Outpatient only (no inpatient floating)
- Typical Caseload: Approximately 9 patients treated per day
- Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Block schedule with 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours (total 40 hours scheduled, guaranteed 37 hours)
- Shift hours between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
- No weekend or holiday requirements
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist with a Master's or Doctorate degree
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric SLP experience
- Outpatient experience required
- First-time travel therapists are welcome (prior travel experience not required)
Orientation & Work Environment
- Half-day department-specific orientation
- One week of limited caseload before full caseload assignment
- Business casual dress code with closed-toed shoes
- Collaborative, young, and fun team environment
- Flexibility and quick learning ability are important
Additional Notes
- The position requires candidates to be located outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (address verification required)
- No weekend or holiday shifts
- No rehab aides or PTAs assigned to this position
