Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech

Location: San Angelo, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Description

Seeking a sonographer with experience in OB ultrasound.


Required Qualifications

  • Ob/Gyn Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience
  • Ob/Gyn Sonographer experience within the last year

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

  • Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
  • Social Security Card (name must match all documents exactly)
  • Background Check (7-year, including federal, state, and education verification)
  • E-Verify or Attestation
  • Education Verification (Diploma may be accepted temporarily if pending)
  • Various facility-specific forms and acknowledgments (e.g., Code of Conduct, Confidentiality, Health Record, Orientation)
  • Clear, passport-style photo for badge

Health and Safety Requirements

  • Physical Exam within 1 year of start
  • Fit Test within 6 months prior to start (annual updates required)
  • Immunizations and Titers:
    • TDAP (within 10 years)
    • Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray (within 1 year) and TB Questionnaire annually
    • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella – positive titer or vaccination proof required
    • Hepatitis B – positive titer or vaccination series, or signed declination form
    • Varicella – positive titer, vaccination, or proof of disease
    • Flu vaccination or facility-specific declination during flu season
    • COVID initial series required (boosters not required)
  • Drug Testing within 30 days of start (includes multiple substances)

Additional Notes

  • Legal name must match exactly on all documentation (license, ID, social security card, certifications). Proof of name change alone is not sufficient.
  • Background checks and certifications must be current and meet facility standards.
  • Orientation and competency exams required, including medication/pharmacology competency as applicable.
  • Pass/Fail testing during orientation includes medication administration, restraint, and glucometer tests depending on position.

This position offers a travel contract opportunity for an Ultrasound Tech with OB sonography skills, requiring compliance with extensive credentialing, health, and safety documentation.
