Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse with recent radiology experience. Occasional weekend coverage required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience, with radiology experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ARRT certification

Certifications & Competencies

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications (AHA only).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP) required for Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, NICU (if applicable).
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) required for Labor and Delivery.
• Pass/Fail Testing onsite including Telemetry Competency and Medication exam.
• Annual competency exams with minimum 80% passing score (Medication, Dysrhythmia/EKG, Core Parts I, II, III).
• Color Blind Testing (Ishihara test) within 1 year of assignment start.
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement.
• Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing.
• State license verification within 30 days prior to start (no temporary or emergency licenses unless approved).
• NURSYS verification for RN licenses within 30 days prior to start.

Health & Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam or statement of health within 72 hours of contract signing.
• Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) within 72 hours of contract signing.
• Immunizations and proof of immunity or vaccination within 72 hours of contract signing:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (preferred, not required).
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccinations or positive titer).
  • Hepatitis B surface antibody titer or declination.
  • Varicella (2 vaccinations or positive titer).
• Negative 9-panel drug test within 72 hours of contract signing.
• Seasonal flu vaccination mandatory (no declinations accepted).
• COVID-19 vaccination: completed initial series and booster required (no exemptions).

Experience

• Must have recent radiology experience.
• Years of specialty experience not explicitly stated; ensure relevant radiology nursing experience.

Additional Requirements

• Two professional references required:

  • One supervisory reference from within the last 12 months.
  • One professional reference from within the last 3 years.
• Employment history covering the last 7 years with verifications.
• Unit-specific skills checklist required.

Shift Details

• Occasional weekend coverage.
