Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Location: Macon, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 1 weekend per month required
• No on-call duties
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of specialty experience
• First-time travelers accepted (no prior travel experience required)

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Georgia
• Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background check completed within 30 days prior to start
• Education verification of related degree required (can be pending at start with proof of processing)
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months of start
• Drug screening (10-panel) within 60 days of start, negative results required
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Immunizations/vaccinations required or documentation of immunity, including but not limited to:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (titer or signed declination)
  • Tdap (highly recommended)
  • Flu vaccine or signed declination (seasonal requirement)
• Annual TB questionnaire required
• Skills checklist updated within 12 months
• Verification of most recent work history required (can be pending at start with proof of processing)
• Two clinical references required

Additional Notes

• Orientation hours vary based on contract length
• Must work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period (expectation to work 1-2 holidays depending on number during contract)
• Full compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time; delays in compliance may result in assignment start delays
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
