Registered Nurse - PICU

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights or rotating
Schedule: 3 weekends per six-week schedule
Time Off:

• Unable to approve time off during the first 2 weeks of contract
• Can approve up to 40 hours for time off after that
• Unable to approve July 4th off

Job Details

• May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required depending on unit
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) may be required depending on unit
• Chemotherapy certification only if applicable (not typical for PICU)

Required Licenses

Work Environment

• Night or rotating shifts
• Floating to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics as needed
• 3 weekends per six-week schedule
