Description
Job Opportunity: Certified CT Technologist
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 33 weeks
Job Description
- Work 40 hours per week, evenings Tuesday through Friday
- Busy Level 1 trauma and stroke center environment
- Large academic medical center with a well-supported CT department
- Equipment includes a mix of Siemens and GE CT scanners
Required Qualifications
- License: Valid ARRT certification required
- Experience: Minimum years of experience not explicitly stated; assume standard for CT Technologist role
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
- ARRT certification required
- Health Requirements:
- Documentation of MMR immunity (vaccines or blood test)
- TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
- Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 1 year of start date
- Fit test for N95 respirator within 1 year of start date, updated annually
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required
- Background Checks:
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start
- Social Security Number trace for past 7 years
- National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid lists) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
- Other Requirements:
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor-level
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and for extensions
- Education verification of highest degree or certification achieved
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
- Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation
- Tdap vaccine preferred but not required
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
- Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documentation
