Job Opportunity: Certified CT Technologist

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 33 weeks

Job Description

• Work 40 hours per week, evenings Tuesday through Friday
• Busy Level 1 trauma and stroke center environment
• Large academic medical center with a well-supported CT department
• Equipment includes a mix of Siemens and GE CT scanners

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid ARRT certification required
• Experience: Minimum years of experience not explicitly stated; assume standard for CT Technologist role
• Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
  • ARRT certification required
• Health Requirements:

  • Documentation of MMR immunity (vaccines or blood test)
  • TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
  • Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 1 year of start date
  • Fit test for N95 respirator within 1 year of start date, updated annually
  • Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required
• Background Checks:

  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start
  • Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start
  • Social Security Number trace for past 7 years
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid lists) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Other Requirements:

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
  • Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor-level
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
  • Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and for extensions
  • Education verification of highest degree or certification achieved

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation
• Tdap vaccine preferred but not required
• Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
• Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documentation
