Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Overnight)

Location: Newton, Massachusetts

Job Description

• Perform a variety of Computed Tomography (CT) procedures under the direction of qualified medical staff.
• Use prescribed levels of ionizing radiation to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts.
• Work with patients ranging from newborn to geriatric.
• Able to insert and remove IVs.
• Follow all federal, state, local, and hospital policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience required.
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Licensed by the State of Massachusetts Radiation Control Board.
  • ARRT Registered - RT (R) or RT (N).
  • ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography preferred. If no CT license at time of hire, must obtain within 1 year.
  • CPR certification required.

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred.
• Must meet all immunization and health screening requirements, including but not limited to:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA preferred).
  • N95 fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually.
  • MMR vaccination or proof of immunity.
  • Influenza vaccine during flu season (no exemptions).
  • TB screening within 3 months of start date.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity strongly preferred.
  • Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 365 days of start date.
• Must pass comprehensive background checks including criminal background, CORI, SSN trace, sex offender registry, and exclusion checks.
• Documentation of work history and education required.
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is needed.
